Sponsored by the Seattle Foundation, the Lambeth Family Scholarship Fund provides financial assistance to deserving Washington state students who are pursuing an undergraduate degree at any U.S. accredited institution with a major in engineering, natural sciences, mathematics, computer science, or business. In order to be eligible for the $3,000 renewable award, applicants must submit a brief essay on educational goals, statement of financial need, two reference letters, and an official sealed transcript.
From the University of Georgia’s Office of Sustainability, the Brittney Fox Watts Endowment for Study Abroad in Sustainability Scholarship is designed to provide financial support to students who are participating in a study abroad program to embrace sustainable practices that address the health and well-being of individuals around the globe. Eligible candidates must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher, demonstrate financial need, possess a strong record of extra-curricular involvement, submit solid faculty recommendations, and compose a 1,000-word essay on educational goals in sustainability.

Each year, the Urban League of Nebraska Multicultural Association Scholarship is granted for $2,500 to graduating high school seniors and/or currently enrolled college students in Nebraska who are members of an underrepresented ethnic, cultural, or racial minority group. In order to qualify for the scholarship funding, candidates must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher, have participated in at least 10 hours of documented community involvement, compose a 500-word essay on educational goals, and submit two letters of recommendation.
